The Highlander is one of the most exciting developments to date in harmonica tunings - the bagpipe tuning! The harmonica is based on a re-tuned, double sided, Echo 80 in A and D, where the A side is tuned to mixolydian with a flattened seventh and the standard tone sequence on the D major side.
The cover plates, comb and box have all been re-designed for this unique harmonica. The maple wood comb/body is coated with a special dark green lacquer, making it very sturdy. It has 0.9mm brass reed plates, and stainless steel cover plates.
Enclosed is a leaflet of tunes suitable for a beginner.
This harmonica is a must for all players interested in bagpipe style music.
